Bristol Vegans World Vegan Day Dinner
Bristol Vegans enjoyed a blinder on World Vegan Day Thursday November 1st at 8pm at Krishna's Inn on The Triangle in central Bristol.
About 15 of us gathered down the sublime Krishna's Inn for a really excellent nite out, everyone was in fine form, relaxed, chatty, lively, food was fantastic, just stacks of it all vegan of course, and a strong Kerala influence in the cooking making the huge variety of dishes really vivid with different textures spices and flavours quite remote from the average indian vegan dish. With plenty of Kingfisher and Cobra to wash it all down with plus some fairly off key jokes from jason including a memorable one about the Pope it really was a good crack. Thanks to our wonderful hosts at Krishnas Inn for putting up with us and thanks especially once again to Ellen for all her hard work and also to Jenny and Ian for their help with PR for the day, including a radio interview (more news later on that one), shout in Venue, the Evening Post and the Somerset Guardian too. Nice to see everyone, do join us for the xmas bash somewhere in bristol this side of xmas
