The Olive Shed - Bristol
Omnivore restaurant
A big favourite amongst many for the Med style informal approach to excellent food. Prime situation overlooking the harbourside just up the road from he L-Shed and the Industrial Museum. Kitchen is open plan, with seating upstairs and alfresco to.
Absolutely the best selection of olives in Bristol, Big selection of salads and tapas, the salads particularly good. As is often the case in Bristol, the people that run it are top notch and service is always efficient but casual, true Bristol style Friendliness comes as part of the meal. Highly reco’d to one and all.

renate 2008-03-06 22:19:32Every time I visit the restaurant, I am surprised again, how marvelous the food tastes. I take all my visitors to have a meal there and they praise it also.
Jo 2008-03-06 22:26:12We ate in the Olive Shed recently for supper. We did call again to say that vegans were on their way (warning!warning!). On offer was a wonderful tomato and thyme soup and then a vegan version of the mezze. There was also a morrocan couscous dish. A lovely evening.
Tim 2007-04-10 22:11:21I've eaten at the Olive Shed several and it is fantastic – brilliant food, great service, excellent location, cant be betttered realy. Places and people like this makes Bristol streets ahead of other ‘hip’ cities like San Fransisco and Amsterdam. Well worth a visit, especially in the summer when you can enjoy the al fresco settings even more
