The Bristol Festival organisers are holding a fund rasing Xmas Fair in Bristol on Nov 24th

Out of the ashes rises the phoenix – and so it is with the much maligned but already sadly missed Ashton Court Festival, which tragically plummeted into oblivion last July. A new group of volunteers, led by Bristol Vegan Fayre organiser Poppy Stephenson, are putting thenselves forward to organise The Bristol Festival next year to take the place of Ashton Court. Local Hemp firm Yaoh are backing the new organisation, and will be ensuring a strong vegan influence by taking a stall at their first fundraiser – a Christmas Fair on Saturday Nov 24th between 10am and 6pm at Armada House, just off Baldwin street in the centre of town. for more info about the xmas fair and also next year's festival see http://thebristolfestival.org/
